Health to be spotlighted at Keighley event
2:04pm Thursday 17th January 2013 in Keighley By Alistair Shand
Ways of improving health and wellbeing will be spotlighted at a meeting in Keighley.
“A New Year, a New You" is the theme of the Airedale Ladies4Networking event, at Cougar Park, on January 24 from 11am to 1.45pm.
Carole Hill, of Skipton Wellness Centre, will describe how she went through 23 years of yo-yo dieting before finally taking control of her life and starting her own wellness business.
She will also outline simple lifestyle changes people can make to improve their health, shape and fitness.
And Lauren Seward, of the Yorkshire Therapy Centre in Silsden, will demonstrate EFT or "tapping" - a type of talking therapy to treat phobias, prevent compulsive behaviour and ease pain.
Airedale Ladies4Networking brings together businesswomen from Keighley, Skipton and the surrounding areas to provide mutual support and pool ideas.
The Keighley branch meets monthly at Cougar Park.
