Man arrested on suspicion of murdering boy, 4, in Keighley

Police have arrested a Keighley man on suspicion of murder after a four-year-old boy died this morning. At around 4.40am police were called by the ambulance service to an address on Harewood Road, Bracken Bank, after reports that a four-year old had died at the address. The child was taken to Airedale Hospital by ambulace where he was pronounced dead. A murder investigation was launched by West Yorkshire Police's Homicide and Major Enquiry Team. At 11.30am a 32-year old man was arrested from an address in the Ingrow area of Keighley. The man was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently in police custody. Inquiries are ongoing and no further details are expected to be released today. A police cordon is in place at the tunnel at Ingrow railway station. Meanwhile, intense searches are being carried out in the Harewood Road area. Police have been seen searching in bins and on garage roofs in the hunt for further evidence. Forensics officers, in white suits, are also on the scene.
