A specialist police unit based in Keighley is celebrating after one of its targets was sent to prison.
The Vehicle Crime Team spent six months investigating Ryan John-Lewis, 28, of Buttershaw, for stealing fuel.
The investigation was launched after John-Lewis was seen on CCTV taking fuel from petrol stations without paying. The team discovered he had fitted large containers, capable of carrying about 1,000 gallons in fuel, into two vehicles.
John-Lewis was jailed for eight months after admitting two counts of making off without payment.
