Haworth guest house plan revealed

A former restaurant that served the people of Haworth for 35 years could soon be converted into a guesthouse.
Bradford Council has approved a planning application, submitted by Dale Wilson, for the conversion of Weaver’s Restaurant in West Lane into tourist accommodation.
The restaurant closed last month after owners Colin and Jane Rushworth, who ran the business since 1978, retired.
But it will not be long before the building finds a new life supporting the village’s thriving tourist industry.
The restaurant already had guest rooms above it, but now the building will be devoted entirely to tourism.
