A group of amputees will tackle a 16-mile trek from Bradford to Keighley this weekend.
Sunday’s walk, mostly on the Leeds-Liverpool Canal towpath, aims to raise more than £5,300 for the Airedale & Bradford Out On A Limb support group.
Family and friends of more than 60 people who have had an amputation, or have birth injuries, will also join the sponsored event.
The personal injury team at Irwin Mitchell’s Leeds office is covering the costs.
Associate solicitor, Sarah Coles, said: “Out On A Limb is fantastic charity, which I know many of our clients receive valuable help and support from.”
The walk is also being supported by Keighley and Ilkley Voluntary Services, Keighley Town Council, Steeton Hall Hotel, The Fishermans at Bingley, The Marquis of Granby at Riddlesden and The White Lion at Kildwick.
