The Long Lee and Thwaites Brow Neighbourhood Forum, the Village Hall on Thursday, October 10 at 7pm. Items for discussion will be Police and the Community together, environmental issues and there will be advance information on Le Tour De France The local Art Group meets on Tuesdays and Fridays, 1.30-3.30pm. in Long Lee and Thwaites Brow Village Hall. Next Tuesday, Long Lee Chapel’s Women’s Welcome Hour meet at 2pm A week tomorrow the Out and About walking group will be walking in the Skipton Woods area. Meet at Keighley bus station to catch the 10.30am. Skipton bus. The following week there is a planning meeting in Keighley Over-50s Centre at 10.15am.
At the close of the morning service at Long Lee Methodist Chapel on Sunday which had been led by Miss Kathryn Whitaker, a presentation was made to chapel stalwarts Tony and Pauline Ainley who are leaving the area.
