Harden parish council meets tonight at 7.15pm, Memorial Hall, Harden.
There will be a session for pre-school children – Movement, singing and story time – organised by Bingley Rural Children’s Centre today, 1.30pm-2.15pm at Cullingworth Methodist Church. For more information, ring 01274 434850.
Harden & District WI meets on Monday 7.30pm in the family room at St Saviour’s Church, Harden, when Anne Cryer who was the Labour MP for Keighley from 1997 to 2010 will be speaking about A woman in politics. Harden WI is also hosting a first aid workshop on Saturday at St Saviour’s Family Room from 10am-noon. An A&E consultant and paramedic will demonstrate and discuss first aid techniques and methods. This is a free event.
Wilsden Slimming World is holding an open evening and launching its “12 weeks to Christmas” party night on Monday at 7pm. There will be lots of healthy party food to sample and a chance to chat with Kirsty, an amazing weight loss member at Wilsden primary school, Tweedy Street, 7pm. Ring Diane (01535) 646455.
Cullingworth Garden Club meets next Wednesday, 7.30pm, at the Methodist Church when Carolyn from Horticap will talk about the work done at Bluecoat Wood Nurseries, Otley Road, Harrogate.
The newly-formed Friends of the Dell have arranged a work day on Sunday, October 20, 10am-noon to start cleaning up the area. Volunteers very welcome, please come along if you can to The Dell, Cullingworth. Wear suitable clothing, footwear and gloves. Anyone interested in becoming a member, ring (01535) 273365.
