Yoga was on the agenda at the latest Carers’ Resource ‘Time For Me’ session at Keighley Healthy Living.
Tutor, Shelley Robinson, led some relaxation and breathing exercises and gentle stretches, and spoke about the benefits of the techniques.
“The group found it extremely rewarding and felt both relaxed and energised at the end of the session – they have all asked for Shelley to run another workshop,” said Carolyne Coyle, for the Carers’ Resource.
Time For Me sessions are aimed at over-50s and carers, and provide practical tips on relaxing, taking time out and trying different activities.
The next session is Christmas crafts from 10am to noon on November 21, and again on December 5.
There will be gingerbread decorating and a Christmas sing-along from 1pm to 3.30pm on December 12. The cost is £2 per session.
People wishing to attend the gingerbread activity should book via ccoyle@carersresource.org or on 01274 449660.
