An entire street of people in Sutton will light up their gardens with Christmas displays on Sunday.

Rowan Garth residents create a glittering array of festive illuminations every year in aid of charity.

Silsden Town Band will accompany carol singing at the 4.30pm switch-on.

All the householders run back to their houses to turn the lights on at the same time during the countdown, Hundreds of people are expected to visit the street to see the displays between Sunday and the New Year.

They can donate money in a collecting box in the garden of 12 Rowan Garth. Proceeds will be shared between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Yorkshire Cancer Research and the British Heart Foundation.
