Children at two Keighley primary schools are seeking people’s stories about their lives as Catholics.
Year four pupils at St Anne’s and year five youngsters at Our Lady of Victories are working on a project about the history of Catholicism in Keighley, and have so far covered the period from 1100 to 1950.
Now they want to hear from anyone with tales of Catholic life between 1950 and the present day.
Historian Malcolm Hanson, who is working with the children, said: “Subjects can include life at school or church, special events and people who have influenced their lives, or personal memories.”
