A driver stopped by police in Harden was arrested for possessing drugs with intent to supply.

A Bingley and Worth Valley Neighbourhood Policing spokesman said the man had been travelling down Long Lane during the early hours of Tuesday December 17.

He said: "Officers on mobile patrol stopped the vehicle. It was searched and the driver, a 44-year-old man from Halifax, was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply, going equipped to commit burglary and possession of an offensive weapon in public.

"The man has been bailed while enquiries are ongoing."
