An angel found her wings at Crossflatts Primary while raising money for a good cause.
Collections taken after the school’s nativity performances raised about £290 for Rix House in Keighley, which provides respite care for adults with learning disabilities.
Alistair Lodge, brother of Crossflatts School teaching assistant, Marie Ann Peters, has attended Rix House for 30 years.
Older children at the school staged the story The Angel Who Got Her Wings as their nativity, while the reception and nursery classes presented a separate nativity.
Pupils presented proceeds of the collections to a Rix House representative after performing Christmas carols on Friday.
