A launch event takes place next week for this year’s Keighley Business Awards.
The accolades, which honour the cream of the area’s business community, is being repeated following the huge success of last year’s inaugural event.
Trophies recognising the outstanding achievements of firms and individuals were presented in ten categories during a glittering ceremony at Octagon Live in Sandbeds last May.
Backers of the initiative include the Keighley News.
This year’s presentation evening will take place on May 16.
And companies are being encouraged to attend the launch, being held at Victoria Hall in Keighley, at 6pm, on Tuesday.
“This is an opportunity to discover the award categories, application process and how the awards might help to drive your business forward,” said Philip Smith, who chairs the awards steering group.
“There will be guest speakers and information, and application forms for those wishing to take part.
“Anyone looking to sponsor one of the awards can also discuss the opportunities available.”
Speakers will include Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s portfolio holder for employment, skills and culture.
There will also be refreshments.
Call (01535) 618085, e-mail ktcm@bradford.gov.uk or visit keighleybusinessawards.co.uk/ for further information and to book a place.
