Keighley’s MP has helped honour those who were killed in the Holocaust.
Kris Hopkins signed the Holocaust Educational Memorial Trust’s Book of Commitment in the House of Commons (right).
The book is also designed to salute the survivors of this genocide, and recognise those who work to inform young people about what happened.
Monday will mark the 69th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration and death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, the site of the largest mass murder in history.
Thousands of commemorative events will be arranged across the country in the weeks leading up to and after Holocaust Memorial Day Mr Hopkins said: “It is a privilege to be asked to sign the Book of Commit-ment and to maintain the fight against prejudice and intolerance.”
