Time is running out to find Keighley’s Perfect Partner.

Would-be Romeo and Juliets are being given the chance to publicly pay tribute to their loved one and win hundreds of pounds’ worth of prizes in the process.

The exciting Keighley News competition – being staged in conjunction with the Airedale Shopping Centre, Khalid’s Desi and Beauty2you – aims to recognise a special person who has gone above and beyond to help, support or just be there for their other half.

Perhaps your partner provides care to help you through serious illness, devotes time selflessly to others or maybe has shown outstanding courage in challenging circumstances.

Last year’s inaugural contest was won by John and Julie Webster, of Oakworth.

Julie, who was suffering from debilitating illness, nominated her husband for the unstinting support he provided with everyday tasks – always with a smile on his face.

Whatever reason you have for wanting to say a special thank-you, we would like to hear from you. But hurry, as the closing date for entries is Monday (February 10).

Keighley News editor Richard Parker said: “For those of us lucky enough to be able to say they have someone special to share their lives with, this is the perfect opportunity to show them just how much they mean to you.

“Make sure your Perfect Partner has a day to truly remember.”

A fantastic array of prizes is on offer to the winner.

The Airedale Centre is providing a package including a bottle of champagne from Marks & Spencer, chocolates from Thorntons, a bouquet courtesy of Max Flowers, a meal deal from Burger King, £75 photographic package from Ramzan Photographics, a £20 holdall from Bag World and a car parking voucher for the centre.

Khalid’s, in Low Mill Lane, Keighley, is providing a meal for two with a starter, main course and sundries, as well as a bottle of house wine, on Valentine’s night.

And Laura Hepworth, who runs mobile beauty and nails business Beauty2you, is offering a free manicure.

To enter, complete the form printed in the Keighley News and return it to the paper's offices at the address shown by February 10, 2014.
