Businesses across the district are taking part in a ‘Work Inspiration Week’ aimed at encouraging students to consider different career options.
Employers are offering a range of activities, from workplace tours and presentations to demonstrations, to give young people an insight into the world of work.
Five hundred pupils from schools district-wide are expected to take part in the initiative, from April 7 to 11. It follows the success of a similar scheme last year.
Among those backing the venture is Barclays.
Spokesman, Paul Knowles, said: “We took part last year and found it to be a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
“It’s a great way of spotting new talent, getting fresh ideas for your business, making a positive contribution to the local economy and helping to inspire young people.”
The project is organised by E3 Bradford, part of the Get Bradford Working programme. Visit e3brad ford.co.uk for further information.
