The Mighty Zulu Nation has descended on a primary school.
The touring theatre company from Durban, in South Africa, staged a day of dance, singing and drumming for pupils and parents at Haworth Primary.
This group was set up in 1982 and has since been all over the world, showcasing the eye-catching, traditional culture of Zululand.
As well as performances for the whole school, the six visitors to Haworth held workshops for each class, helping the children kick off a week of Africa-themed learning.
Head teacher Helen Thompson said: “They had come to our school many years ago, but none of our existing pupils had seen them before.
“It was a really interesting day. The children were saying it was the best day they had had at school, and the parents were really impressed too.
“It was an inspirational start to our week of learning about different parts of Africa.”
