A new collection of large print and Braille children’s books has been introduced at Keighley Library.
Thirty titles – including pre-school classics Dear Zoo and Kipper’s Toybox – are available to borrow for free for up to three weeks.
Schools or groups can be loaned up to 25 books, for 12 weeks at a time.Shipley and Manningham libraries are also taking part.
Coun Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council’s executive member for employment, skills and culture, said: “We are keen to ensure all youngsters have access to books, and these new Braille and large-print picture books will help parents and grandparents to share these fabulous stories with children.”
