An historic railway carriage is being fully restored more than 45 years after it came to Keighley.
The 128-year-old Midland six-wheeled composite coach is owned by the Vintage Carriages Trust.
The trust has displayed the wooden carriage since 1997 in its museum at Ingrow railway station.
Now volunteers are busy repairing and replacing damaged parts to return the carriage to its former glory.
The coach is the only Midland Railway carriage on the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, which is itself a former Midland Railway branch line.
A trust spokesman said for many years the carriage was exposed to the elements at Oxenhope railway station.
He added: “Relatively little work took place other than having internal partitions reinstated to help support the roof, and a coat or two of paint.
“Filming assignments in 2000 and 2001 meant some attention was given to quick repaints and to the running gear.
“Work is now progressing well with the first steps in this full restoration.”
