Keighley people with severe sight problems are being urged to ensure they claim their cut-price TV licence.
Last year more than 70 people in the town obtained a concessionary licence, which – at £72.75 for colour – is half the normal fee.
TV Licensing is working with the RNIB charity and other groups representing sight-impaired people to raise awareness of the concession.
Andy Barrick, for the RNIB, said: “Some blind people – and their families – may not be aware that they are eligible to claim a 50 per cent reduction in the cost of their licence.
“TV continues to be a popular form of entertainment for many people with sight loss, thanks in part to recent improvements in talking programme guides.
“We would encourage blind people to apply for their reduced licence if they haven’t already done so.”
