The charity organising this month’s Haworth 1940s weekend has appealed for volunteers to come forward and help ensure another successful event.
The Soldiers, Sailors & Airmen’s Families Association (SSAFA) would like people to contribute towards this year’s occasion, which will take place on the weekend of May 17 and 18.
Charity branch chairman for West Yorkshire, Terry Grayshon, said: “We’re looking for people who can be marshals or collect for SSAFA, or have any other specialist knowledge that could be useful.
“We ideally need about 60 marshals during the weekend – we already have some, but the more extra people there are available to help the better the event will be.”
