Keighley News: Film to be legacy Film to be legacy

Tour de France promoters in Keighley have congratulated Keighley filmmaker Danny Hardaker on winning an international film award.

Danny is the official videographer for Worth the Tour, the community group co-ordinating local Grand Depart activities.

He won the Keighley News People’s Choice award in the Keighley-based RATMA film festival.

Danny’s entry, entitled #eatbrains and filmed with the Small World arts group, beat hundreds of short films entered by directors across the world.

Worth the Tour spokesman Gerry Crookes said: “Danny’s been out and about around Keighley and the Worth Valley capturing all the activities leading up to Le Tour on film, so that we have a lasting legacy.”
