Parents in Glusburn had a muddy good cup of coffee last week.

They held a coffee morning at the school in advance of their charity obstacle course attempt.

Mothers of pupils at Glusburn Primary School, along with female staff members, are taking part in Cancer Research UK’s latest fundraising drive.

They will attempt the Pretty Muddy obstacle course across five kilometres in the grounds of Temple Newsam in Leeds.

The aim of the June 28 event is to “climb, jog or walk all over cancer” while raising sponsorship money.

Proceeds of the coffee morning, held last Friday, (June 6) will also go to Cancer Research UK.

In support of the school’s team, known as Muddylicious, children and staff wore pink and brown during the day of the coffee morning.
