A PLANNED playground in Braithwaite has been prioritised for action by Keighley councillors.
The town’s area committee was asked to choose which of two proposed play areas should receive the attention of officers.
Committee members put Braithwaite ahead of a planned multi-activity area in Holden Park, Oakworth.
Officers may also have time to work on the Oakworth project this year. Funding has yet to secured for both projects.
Bradford Council was last year heavily involved in building a new playground for younger children in Holden Park.
The latest play area for the Oakworth park will be fenced so that older children can play ball games.
