Lorry fire closes trunk road
A LORRY blaze on the Aire Valley trunk road caused traffic chaos between Silsden and Keighley yesterday teatime.
A lorry travelling to Keighley caught fire soon after the Steeton/Silsden roundabout at about 4pm.
The Silsden-Keighley side of the A629 was closed to traffic as firefighters and police tackled the incident.
Nobody was injured, and because of the fire is believed to be accidental.
