POLICE are investigating a spate of thefts from vehicles in the Oakworth area.
The Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) said it had received a small number of reports where items have been removed from vehicles.
A police spokesman said: “It is possible the suspects have been targeting vehicles which may have been left insecure at the time.”
Worth Valley NPT urges residents to remain vigilant and follow simple steps such as locking car doors, closing windows and removing all property.
People should pt in a safe, well-lit area, remove satellite navigation systems and accessories, and keep keys away from what’s, window ledges and kitchen tables.
