A PERSON killed after being struck by a train just outside Crossflatts Station yesterday was a 41-year-old Keighley man, say police.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers were called to the railway line near Morton Beck Underbridge in Bingley at 3.23pm after reports of a person being hit by a train.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his family has been informed.
The incident led to major rail disruption, with the line between Keighley and Shipley being closed into the evening.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: “Officers are currently working to formally identity the man and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
