THE PRIME Minister should tell the European Union to “stick the money where the sun doesn’t shine” amid demands for an extra £1.7 billion.
MP Philip Davies said the public wanted David Cameron to put the UK interest first and refuse outright to hand over any more cash.
Speaking in the Commons, Mr Davies said: “We already hand over the best part of £20 billion a year, propping up inefficient European businesses and French farmers.
“The British public does not expect the Prime Minister to hand over a bit less money or to hand it over a bit later, they expect him to tell the European Union to stick the money where the sun doesn’t shine. What is the worst the EU could do if we did that? Ask us to leave? In my dreams.”
