NEW PARENTS in Keighley are being offered free places on a First Aid for Babies course.

Keighley-based first aid organisation KFA Medical will not charge the first 12 people who book a place

A sp.okesman for KFA Medical said the course would be particularly useful for new mothers.

He said: “After the birth there is no formal training which shows how to care for the baby should they become ill or injured.”

The course will run from 10am to 4pm on January 19 at KFA Medical’s base in Butterfield House, Thwaites Lane, Keighley.

It covers unconsciousness, CPR, choking, meningitis, temperature control, burns, bumps to the head, and seizures.

E-mail info@kfamedical.com or call 01535 601748 to book a place on the course.

After the first 12 people, anyone else who books a place will be charged £15.

KFA Medical also runs three-day First Aid at Work courses, along with Emergency First Aid at Work and basic First Aid courses.
