KEIGHLEY people are being asked their views on what services should be provided in the future by Bradford Council.
Residents, community groups and businesses can offer their opinions as part of the council’s New Deal campaign.
The council said it was being forced to strike a new deal with the district’s population due to the challenges it faced through shrinking budgets, rising costs and increasing demand.
It wanted a “wide-ranging conversation” with local people now that it cannot provide all the services people currently use.
People are being asked what matters most to them, what could be stopped or changed, and what people, businesses and organisations could do differently to help.
People are also being asked how the council can help them do more things for themselves.
A spokesman said: “We can only make the district better if we all work together, as local organisations and local people, to meet the challenges we face as money for public services continues to be cut.”
Consultation meetings are running across the district until next March, and the first one was in Keighley last month.
