KEIGHLEY-district libraries are staging activities today (Mar 5) to celebrate World Book Day.
Pupils from St Anne's and Victoria primary schools in Keighley will be visiting the town's library, in North Street.
And at Silsden Library, youngsters will be invited to take part in a competition to design a bookmark.
The events are among many being staged across Bradford.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, Bradford Council's executive member for employment, skills and culture, said: "World Book Day has become a really important day in the calendar for many schools.
"In Bradford, our library network is making the most of the opportunity in order to give children a passion for reading."
