A HAWORTH environmental group is making good progress despite poor weekend weather.
Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Parish Councillor Ashna Yates, of the Haw-earth initiative, said group members were hoping to complete work on developing new pathways on an allotment side off Rawdon Road once they have a dry Saturday.
"We've put the wood down for the paths but every time we try and finish off the work it's been raining," she said.
"The members have planted potatoes, onions and carrots and we've also got some new volunteers, which I'm really pleased about because it's not always easy to get volunteers."
Haw-earth was founded in 2013 to transform derelict, unsightly patches of land in the village into sustainable sources of healthy food.
