A REUNION is being held for ex-pupils of several former schools in Keighley.
One-time students of the old Highfield Middle/Secondary Modern, Guard House Junior and St Andrew's/National Junior schools are being invited to the gathering.
The reunion – at Keighley Rugby Union Club, Utley, from 6pm on May 23 – will feature many photographs, refreshments plus a disco later in the evening.
"Pupils from any era are welcome," said David Kirkley, of Keighley Schools Heritage Group, which is organising the event.
"All the school buildings have now gone, with Highfield disappearing in 2000.
"We just want to have a great get-together and chin-wag about old times and old friends."
Tickets are available – priced £8 – from Forteas in North Street, Keighley, or by calling 01535 210762.
Under-12s are admitted free.
Profits from the evening will be donated to Phoenix and Beechcliffe special schools.
