GROOVY Greeks and a set of incredible invaders stormed into the children's surgical ward at Bradford Royal Infirmary making boredom history for young patients... including little Lily Clark from Sutton-in-Craven.
The visit is an example of how the hospital's children's wards try to brighten young patients' experiences by having visits from casts appearing in shows at the city's theatres.
This week it was the turn of Groovy Greeks and Incredible Invaders, who were visiting children's surgical Ward 2 while taking a break from rehearsals for the Horrible Histories show, on at the Alhambra Theatre until Saturday.
Ward manager David Menebhi said: "We do the best we can with the resources we have to keep everyone feeling positive. Having visits like this brightens up everyone's day."
Tickets cost from £13.50 and are available from the box office on 01274 432000 or by visiting the bradford-theatres.co.uk website.
