THE funeral of the wife of Bradford City joint-chairman Mark Lawn will be held at Bradford Cathedral.
Yvonne Lawn, 53, was diagnosed with bowel cancer three-and-a-half years ago and died on Monday, February 1.
The grandmother-of-five died at the family home in Oakworth.
Her funeral will take place at Bradford Cathedral, Stott Hill, at 12.30pm on Friday. The service will be followed by a private cremation.
Family flowers only are requested but those who attend can make a donation to the Manorlands hospice at the service.
Those who attend have also been asked to wear an item of clothing of any shade of purple, and no black.
Julian Rhodes, City joint-chairman, was among those who paid tribute to Mrs Lawn last week.
He said: "Yvonne was lovely, she always had a smile on her face.
"She was a big Bradford City fan and went to as many games as she could.
"She allowed Mark to follow his dream by investing in the club."
