A KEIGHLEY post office will close next month for a major refurbishment.
The Oakworth Road branch is being modernised and services expanded.
Opening hours will also be extended.
The premises will shut at 5.30pm on Wednesday, July 6, and reopen at 1pm on July 21.
"This modernisation is part of a major investment programme – the largest in the history of the Post Office," said area manager Dave Ogleby.
"We are confident this vibrant new-style post office at the heart of the community will meet customer needs.
"We're making it easier for customers to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents."
The new facility will be provided from two, screened counters.
It will open from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Mondays and from 9am to 5.30pm Tuesday to Saturday. Currently the branch closes at 12.30pm on Saturdays.
