A KEIGHLEY gym will celebrate 25 years in business this weekend by staging a day of entertainment in aid of Manorlands.
Workouts Health Club, in Oakworth Road, was founded in 1991 and is owned by Paul Royston.
From 3pm tomorrow (June 25) it will be welcoming everyone to enjoy a variety of fun activities at its premises, including a barbecue and bouncy castle.
There will also be a tombola, a raffle, a quiz and bingo along with putting and hula hoop competitions.
Oakworth resident Ian McLaren, who was one of the gym's first members when it launched in 1991, said most of the entertainment should take place outdoors depending on the weather.
Commenting on the choice of good cause to support, he added: "I've lost friends who've been looked after at Manorlands. The care they give people there is phenomenal."
He said he would be taking part in the Great North Run in September, also to raise funds for the same hospice.
