A MUM is supporting a hospital neonatal unit where her children received care.
Lisa Artis has become a volunteer champion for the charity Bliss, which supports parents at the Airedale Hospital unit.
"It is a cause close to my heart," said Lisa, an associate director of Skipton-based AKA PR.
"Both my children were born premature and needed medical attention from the unit, as well as spending weeks in the hospital.
"I want to give something back to the ward and help support families that are going through a tough time."
Working with unit staff and other Bliss champions, she will use her public relations and marketing skills to develop various initiatives.
She will also be involved in organising fundraising events and help to provide a link between parents, the unit and Bliss services.
