STUDENTS from Beckfoot Oakbank School in Keighley have been tasting university life.
Pupils from years 11 and 12 attended an open day at Leeds Trinity University, Horsforth.
They were given a tour of the campus, including the accommodation, library and media facilities, where they had the chance to try their hand as camera operators.
The students then headed to an English seminar led by university lecturer, Dr Nathan Uglow.
A school spokesman said: "Our students were all wonderfully behaved, engaged and willing to learn throughout the seminar.
"They then met with current Trinity students, talked to Students' Union representatives and explored the social side through photo booths, freebies and enjoying access to Starbucks on campus!
"As an aspirational trip, it has encouraged many of our students to consider studying English and/or media at degree level whilst experiencing a smaller campus local to a large city.
"All the students were a credit to our school."
