CULLINGWORTH councillors have recommended refusal of proposals to build a two-storey side extension to a house in the village.

Members of the Village Council believe the application does not appear to resolve issues raised by a Bradford Council planning officer over a previous application for the house at 29 Greenside Lane.

Councillors claimed the extension would still pose and “imposing and bulky” addition to the original home, and would harm the existing building’s character and the look of the street.

They felt it would also have an unacceptably harmful impact on the living conditions of neighbours.

Bradford Council planners have not yet decided whether to approve the planning application.
