KEIGHLEY and the Worth Valley is due to feature on national television this week.
A programme on BBC 4 on Thursday (March 30) called “The Golden Age of Steam Railways – Branching Out” will include material on how the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway was saved and restored by a team of dedicated volunteers.
The hour-long programme begins at 9pm. It features amateur footage filmed by enthusiasts showing the work they did to save some of the nation's historic railway tracks and the steam engines that used them.
