TWO Keighley bands will perform this weekend to boost a rugby league star's testimonial fund.
Rock Bottom Risers and The Sailmakers are both appearing at the Cross Roads Inn, in Haworth Road, Cross Roads, from 7pm on Saturday (July 1).
Tickets are £10, including food.
The event is part of testimonial-year activities for popular long-serving Keighley Cougars star Brendon Rawlins.
The Aussie forward arrived at the Lawkholme club from Balmain Tigers a decade ago.
A chunk of the money raised during the year will be donated to the defibrillator fund set up in memory of his former teammate and good friend, Danny Jones, who collapsed and died from an undiagnosed heart condition while playing against London Skolars two years ago.
