KEIGHLEY Playhouse members and their friends raised £900 for charity with a recent revue.
The concert of music, dance and comedy sketches celebrated the 110th anniversary of Keighley-based charity Sight Airedale.
Performers included vintage singer Kitty La Mare and nine-year-old keyboard player and singer Fraser Campbell-McDonald.
Playhouse spokesman Barbara Boothroyd said the concert was organised and directed by Playhouse regulars Mike and Debbie Ellison and involved more than 30 Playhouse members.
She said: “It was a great success, well supported and enjoyed by all who attended. Thank you to everyone who contributed to a wonderful evening of live entertainment.”
Keith Trott, chairman of Sight Airedale, expressed his thanks to the Playhouse for hosting the event and raising much-needed funds for the on-going work of the charity.
Sight Airedale, formerly known as Keighley and District Association for the Blind, is a charity providing support for people with visual impairment.
Founded in 1907, it caters for wider area including Keighley, Silsden, the Worth Valley, Bingley, Ilkley, Barnoldswick, Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.
