A NATIONAL fundraising campaign in aid of the Riding for the Disabled Association was joined by local riders.
RDA UK chairman Sam Orde took on a series of distance horse-rides across the country and was joined by supporters in each area.
Ms Orde was accompanied in Yorkshire by riders from the charity's Riverside, Bingley St Ives and Otley and the Dales groups at the St Ives estate at Harden.
Some followed a 3km route, while others completed 10km.
At the end of the shorter ride, participants were welcomed into the St Ives Equestrian Centre by manager Sue Smith.
And refreshments were provided by volunteers from St Ives RDA.
All the riders were presented with rosettes and certificates.
Ms Orde said the support locally for the Big Ride initiative had been "brilliant".
She added: "These rides are all about bringing people together over a shared love of horses and the simple pleasure of riding or carriage driving for fun and for a very good cause."
