MANORLANDS has received a boost following a family fun day.
A £5,520 cheque has just been handed over to the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
The event was held earlier this year in memory of Maggie Young, who was cared for at Manorlands.
Attractions at the fun day – organised by Maggie's husband Kevin and friends – included a barbecue, bouncy castle, games, a tombola and silent auction.
It was held at Keighley Rugby Union Football Club, where the cheque presentation – to Manorlands community fundraiser Liv Moffat – also took place.
She said: "It was great to go down to the rugby club to meet everyone and thank them for all their hard work putting the event together.
"Receiving a cheque for £5,520 is absolutely fantastic for Manorlands and a wonderful tribute to Maggie."
