PEOPLE of all ages have joined forces once again to further enhance a once neglected green space in Keighley.
They came together earlier this month (Oct) at the site off Westfell Road.
Among the youngsters who turned up on October 7 were members of Fell Lane Scouts, Cubs and Beavers, who met to plant a variety of spring bulbs and seeds.
Around 30 people joined in the session, ranging in age from five year olds to adults. This formed part of a series of environmental action days carried out over the past year.
Following the planting of hundreds of new bulbs and seeds, the volunteer gardeners were treated to refreshments at the nearby Scout Hut off Fell Lane.
The bulbs, seeds and refreshments were provided with funding from Yorkshire Housing.
Community development worker Pip Gibson said: "Great fun was had by all. The children and young people are looking forward to seeing the results of their labours in the spring.
"Many thanks to Scout leader Richard Hancock and the group leaders for organising everything."
