VISITORS to Keighley Market can get into the spirit of Hallowe'en next weekend.

A ghostly grotto is being set-up at the Low Street site, where children can have their faces painted.

Spooky characters will patrol the hall, and traders will don costumes and hand-out sweets.

The event, from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, October 28, is among several being staged in the district for Hallowe'en by Bradford Council's markets team.

Activities are also taking place at the Oastler Shopping Centre and Kirkgate Market in Bradford.

Councillor Alex Ross-Shaw, the council's executive member for regeneration, planning and transport, said: "Our markets team has lined-up a great range of attractions to help families celebrate Hallowe'en, with something for everyone at the events."
