A SILSDEN craft shop which supports local community projects is organising a weekend of special activities.
Many Hands@ No 25 is a craft cooperative and gift shop run by eight friends, which works with local artists and craftspeople to offer workshops and sell their wares.
The friends also support community projects such as Friends of Silsden Green Places and Airedale hospital, by making 'twiddle muffs' for patients with Alzheimers and laundry bags for the special care baby unit.
Many Hands, at 25 Kirkgate, will host a social evening on December 1 from 6pm to around 10pm with mulled wine, spiced apple juice and mince pies.
There will be short craft taster sessions on Saturday, December 2 from 11am with activities for all the family.
Many Hands spokesman Kath Cole said: “If you've ever driven through Silsden at dusk and seen a lively group gathered around our table, then now is your chance to see what we get up to!”
