KEIGHLEY Blues Live bosses have been amazed by the response to a planned gig by American singer-musician Samantha Fish.
More than 200 people have already snapped up tickets to see the 28-year-old Missourian perform with her band at the Octagon club in Sandbeds.
A spokesman urged people to snap up tickets soon because the 300-capacity venue on Bradford Road was expected to sell out before the gig on Sunday, November 26.
He said: “We have been truly taken aback by the demand for tickets - after all it's on a Sunday, traditionally a difficult day on which to tempt anyone beyond the most fervent music lovers to a gig, yet people are travelling from all over the north of England to see her perform.”
Keighley Blues Live’s last gig, by Doug MacLeod, attracted a “small but passionate” audience.
