A CHARITY tractor run is taking to the roads again in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The Bronte Tractor Run, on December 28, will cover a route of about 24 miles around the Worth Valley.

Any vehicles are invited to take part.

The run will set off from the Colin Appleyard garage in Halifax Road, Keighley, at 10am.

Participants will break for coffee and mince pies at the Grouse Inn, Oldfield, before heading on to Haworth.

After travelling down Main Street, the convoy will make its way to the finish at the Bronte Hotel, where a stew will be served and there will be a raffle and tombola.

"This is the 17th year of the run and over that time we've raised a lot of money for the air ambulance," said Stanley Turner, for the organising team.

"Anyone is welcome to come along – the more the merrier."

Further information can be obtained from Mr Turner on 01535 643391.
